RILU was born out of a deep love for design – a passion that couldn’t be contained. Founded in Istanbul by Simay Akgün Çelik, a practicing lawyer whose heart beats for creativity, RILU is where modern elegance meets a playful spirit. 

What started as a personal journey into the world of design soon became a calling. Simay Akgün Çelik immersed herself in design education, workshops, and the art of leather craftsmanship, driven by a singular dream: to create bags that feel as extraordinary as the women who carry them.
